BASA Gauteng

Hi guys

Some of you may have noticed some changes in the Facebook group from the Gauteng Biokinetics Associationto Biokinetics Association of Southern Africa

Over the last few months, BASA has been undergoing some really exciting re-structuring which will be formally communicated to you through the upcoming newsletter.

All I can say is that we can look forward to our new look and logo (which I can personally vouch for, will be something for us to really be proud of).

I can also say that us as Biokineticists are going to come together as a major force in Southern Africa.

The Gauteng Biokinetics Association Committee (which will now be known as BASA Gauteng) comprised of myself, Janine Hugo and Stuart Forsyth has formed a marketing committee along with Gerda Joubert (BASA Vice President), Shannon Richter (BASA admin officer) and an external consultant called Harry, to assist with the facelift of our profession.

During this transition period, we really want to urge communications fairly aggressively!

To get this process rolling, however, we need to be able to talk to you all and create a forum for us all to talk to each other!

Our communications will follow the following routes (I suggest you go follow us)

From us to you (open to the public):
This is for us to communicate basic information, general bulletins, snippets, info etc to you and the public)

Twitter (@BiokineticsSA)
Go to www.twitter.com (and look for BASA or BiokineticsSA) or go to https://twitter.com/#!/BiokineticsSA

Forum based communication (restricted access to BASA members only):
This is for the Bios to talk to one and other, ask questions, query ethics etc and for us to communicate with you as a BASA registered Biokineticist).

Facebook (group)
Go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/43838075654/ and request to join

Looking forward to the Facelift of Biokinetics
