Welcome message from the Chairman
Dear Bio's and Interns
Western Province Biokinetics Association (WPBA) is a regional chapter of the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA). Our goal as WPBA is to serve as an intermediary and facilitator between you as the practioner and the national chapter. We aim to connect Biokineticists in the Western Cape, provide networking opportunities, continuing education courses, and to be a resource of information.
WPBA was resurrected in 2004 initially to connect the Biokineticists in the Western Cape area to each other and link our province with BASA. WPBA has grown substantially in the last few years, thanks to the participation of its members through attendance, lecturing, and an attitude of growth for our professional field. We are a growing organization and there is a further need for cooperation, participation, education and unification across the country as Biokineticists to help further our field. It is because of this need that we hope to streamline our communication you as the members to be more efficient and effective.
